The novelty received some external differences from the all-wheel drive model-they are in the light nuances of the body trim, aerodynamic tail and exhaust system, as well as the exclusive color Kemora Grey. In addition, the novelty offered an optional carbon package and 20-inch wheels instead of the regular 19-inch.
5.2-liter V10 became slightly weaker: in the rear-wheel drive version, it develops 540 HP and the same number of Nm instead of 570 "horses" and 55 Newtons in the Quattro modification. However, along the way, the novelty in both available bodies-coupe and spider-became noticeably lighter: the version with a hard roof "lost weight" by 65 kg, and the modification with a folding top dropped 55. And they weigh, respectively, 1 595 and 1 695 kg.
However, the diet still did not compensate for the loss in dynamics: both new supercars lose all-wheel drive companions 0.3 s in acceleration to 100 km / h. rear-Wheel drive coupe does it for 3.7 s, spider-0.1 longer. The maximum speed is stated at 320 and 318 km / h.
A kind of compensation can serve as a reconfigured sports mode stabilization system, allowing side slip: now the Audi R8 can easily drift.
Orders for rear-wheel drive "Erki" European Audi dealers are already taking, "live" cars will appear at the beginning of the year. They will cost 22 thousand cheaper all-wheel drive supercars – that is, 144 thousand euros for the coupe and 157 thousand for the spider.
